Now, at the time (and you won’t remember this because internet) it actually got a decent amount of publicity as the ‘quirky’ news item you see at the end of a news bulletin. So, now add in a couple of months for FearFactor to get around to producing this episode and the US pastime of not knowing any geography and you can see how this has come about.
